How To Send CAD To USD

Follow these two main steps to complete your transaction;

Step 1: Initiate the Transfer

• Log in to your Africhange app and select your funded CAD wallet
• Click on the Send icon on the home page.
• Enter the amount to be sent in Canadian dollar (CAD).
• Select your preferred recipient country in the currency dropdown- in this case, "USD."
• The app will automatically display the equivalent amount in USD. (Ensure your CAD wallet is funded enough for your transaction, bearing in mind the ACH or SWIFT transfer charge)
• Select the means of transfer (ACH, or SWIFT)

Step 2: Add the recipient and complete the transfer

• Click on ADD RECIPIENT and populate the required fields
• Once the recipient is saved, select the purpose of payment
• Check/review the transaction summary page for accuracy and click on CONFIRM
• Input your TRANSACTION PIN
• The transaction is completed.

Note:

• Transfers to USD are processed via ACH, WIRE or SWIFT at their respective transfer charge.
• These charges are non-refundable if wrong details are used and the transaction is processed or refunded
• Please note that transactions to USD accounts are completed within 1-3 business days
