Receiving USD from Venmo

Follow this step-by-step guide to receive USD payments from Venmo into your Africhange account.

Step 1: Link Africhange as a US Bank in Venmo

1. Open the Venmo app and navigate to your Me tab → Wallet → Banks & Cards.

2. Tap “Add a bank or card” → choose Bank Account

3. Enter your Africhange routing/account numbers to verify manually:

   • Since its manual verification, Venmo will make two micro‑deposits (each less than $1) into your Africhange account. You will receive an email from Africhange with the micro-deposits to verify your account.

4. Note the micro-deposit amounts sent by Africhange via email, and enter them back in Venmo to verify.

Step 2: Send USD from Venmo to Africhange

Once verified:

1. Go to Me tab → Wallet → Transfer to Bank.

2. Choose your Africhange-linked bank account.

3. Select standard transfer (free, arrives in 1–3 business days) or instant transfer (with ~1.75% fee, arrives in 30 minutes).

4. Enter the amount, confirm, and send.
